Does anyone have experience with these homes? We are looking at purchasing one next year, but would like to know if there are any horror stories lurking around.

I don't have any horror stories, but will say that one must choose their individudal dealer as carefully as they do their home.

I visited the dealership in Farmington, N.M., last year and felt that the particular salesman I talked to was "oily," and didn't really trust him. Built in instinct I call it.

I didn't particularily like the floor plans,felt that the closets in the bedrooms took too much room and floor space etc.out of the room.

I did like some of the options they offered though.

You were smart to listen to your instinct. Our gut instincts will never lead us wrong. The Creator put that in all His creatures and anybody who ignores it is a fool.

My daughter has a Solitaire, and it does have a lot other homes don't have,but it didn't come cheap.Her big problem has been service and after about 16 months, she still is trying to get things fixed. The workmanship on the house leaves a lot to be desired. Good Luck.{p.s. the manager has been fired so mabey she will get something done now. will wait and see.}
