This is the State Manufactured Housing Board website, which I've found to be a great resource:

Board Purpose

This Board enforces and coordinates federal and state laws governing the manufactured housing (mobile home) industry. The Board licenses all manufacturers, contractors, installers, repairers, retail dealerships, and salespersons that sell, or offer for sale, manufactured housing in the state. The Board is the state administrative agency for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban development and is required to investigate and enforce federal manufactured housing construction and safety standards. Administrative staff receives and investigates consumer complaints against licensees.

In the fiscal year 2000-2001, the number of licenses issued was 2796. The board has received 752 HUD Manufactured Home Consumer Complaints. 708 HUD Manufactured Homes Inspected. 62 HUD Manufactured Homes Re-inspected. 555 HUD Manufactured Home Complaints Resolved. 81 Contractual Complaints Inspected/Investigated. 66 Contractual Complaints Resolved.

Look under "Disciplinary Info" to see dealers who aren't towing the line.
