I'm considering buying a used m.h. - a year old or so. How can I be sure what kind of insulation the house has? Is that something that will be listed on the data plate?
Thanks for your help

Hello Rose,
Probably not, you will have to go on what the buyer say's. Or maybe the buyer has a home-owners packet that lists all the options and up-grades the home has when the home was purchased.

Depending on the manufacturer the R factor may be listed on the Data plate. Every data plate does give information that will help you detemin the over all insulation values of the home.
Also, if you have the home serial number and manufacturer you can contact the factory and from records they can supply that information.
