SKYLINE Corp:Tentative Retraction

As I feel I have been incorrect in a few items concerning SKYLINE MH, as of this date, there is scheduled another walk through to view the problems in this house. The developer Summer Hill / A Hunter Developement Co. was NOT invited.
I firmly feel at this time that Skyline Corp (and not the dealer) and I can resolve the problems with this home. I have had a pleasant conversation now with three officials of Skyline and look forward to working with them in all of the areas where problems exist. Thank you, Skyline, for your contacting me directly.
Sincerely, Richard Henry Wilde of Martinsburg, WV.
PS - Don't loose my WV phone number . . .

Richard,

I am so happy that you are finally getting the help you deserve. I have read your messages and my heart went out to you. After reading about your problems I started to have second thoughts about Skyline. I hope the corp will do what they need to in order to give you the pride you should have for your home.

Take care : )

Hello Richard,

Manufacturers for the most part, are quick to respond to consumers. Be sure to put your complaint in writing and keep a copy for your records. List any known factors that contributed to the problem along with the serial number of your home. Sometimes your lender may be able to resolve the situation, especially if the sales center has not been funded yet. Some are forced to take legal action against the sales center or manufacturer but this usually can be avoided.

Here is a great web-site if you have a complaint, http://www.hud.gov/fha/sfh/mhs/mhssaa.html You can also contact the Better Business Bureau at http://www.bbb.org/ Go to the top left hand corner of their web-page and click on “Find your local BBB.” Pick the state you live in and a list will appear showing the nearest office in your area. You can also write or call them at, Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. 4200 Wilson Building, Suite 800 Arlington, Va. 22203-1838 Phone: (703) 276-0100 Fax: (703) 525-8277

Hope all goes well Richard.
