Mobile parks in Sunnyvale

Post by Yvette » Thu Nov 01, 2001 1:18 pm

Anyone out there have any information on the mobile parks in Sunnyvale? I want to stay in the Bay Area, but the rent is killing me. I am thinking about purchasing a mobile home in one of the parks in Sunnyvale. Does anyone have any advice for me? on the parks or on what models are best, which ones to stay away from? And what should I look for when I start shopping?
Thanks

Helly Yvette,

Below are some questions you will want to ask before deciding upon a particular rental community.

 Is a lease required and, if so, for how long?
 What are the charges for utility connections or other services?
 What are the community's rules and regulations?
 Are pets prohibited?
 Are there any special requirements/restrictions when you sell your home?
 Are there any provisions to protect you if the owner of the manufactured home community sells the property for another purpose?

Look for well maintained parks where pride of ownership is evident. Hope this helps!!
