loop coil heating system

My husband and I recently had the experience of walking through a manufactured home factory. He (husband) commented that the necessity to cut out portions of the floor joists to accomodate the coil heat would appear to weaken the floor system. I am wondering if this might be so. Or is it just the reaction of an older, more conservative gentleman?

Hello BC,

Anytime you weaken the floor joists you are causing problems down the road. I would avoid this manufactuer.
