Manufacture home buying

I just thought that I would let anyone that is in the process of buying a moble home be careful with whome you deal with. We just purchased a new home from what was Oak Creek manufacture Homes and is now Barton Manufactured home. When we first started everyone thetre was nice the sell person worked hard to get the financing done for us we designed the floor plan . Once we were approved then every thing started to show up they told us different times when we could expect the home in it never happened, then they promise us it was to be in by the end of june ( we was approved in the middle of may)I talk to the salesman to make sure it would be here and he promised us it would . We gave our renter his notice. Come the end of june no home and no place to go. We then found out from the owner of the company that he had just put in the order for it to go on line and it should be here in 2 weeks, Guess what 2 weeks came no home then there was stories after stories. the salesman then told us it was on the road but the Truck pulling it broke down in Miss. and as soon as they get another truck it will be dilvered to my property rain, sleet, snow or shine. We was to be married July the 21st and had family coming in on july 9 . on july the 2nd the home arrived at the dealer and before the truck could get unhooked from it another home wich left that morning from the same place came in which was from alabamma home of legends which means that our home was never broke down in Miss it was another story to satisfy me. After looking over the home briefly it didnot come with the cabinets that we specified nor the carpet we ordered. along with several other things. We were then told that we was to live in the home for about 3 weeks and then make a list and it would be fixed. when they brought the home out wich wasa onJuly 3 the ground was wet and they had a little bet of a problem getting the first half in they had it lined up to back straight up onto the pad but couldnot get traction I suggested to the driver to get a tow truck out to give him a and the pad was not that soft the ground was just slick. He called the company which then told him that they would not pay for a tow truck if i wanted to i could. I at that point blew my stack and went to the office to tell them how unhappy i was with the home and that they could keep it i would start all over .they assured me they would take care of it when i got back they had both section on my property. Then the real kicker came along while we was moving in the service workers was here to do some repairs on the home as i stated we was to be married july 21st on july20 we noticed that our wedding bans had ben stolen from the dresser in the bedroom. Noone had been in the room during the last time we checked them until we notice them missing except the workers we made a report on them i called the dealer he again promise me he would do everything he could to get it resolved including have them all take a lie dectector test. he ask me for a copy of my receipt on the rings and said he would contact in insurance on the deductable. I have taked to the investigator several time on this and he tells me he can never get the men from the company together they are always out. To this date I have sent a certified letter to Barton Manufacture homes to inform then on my intentions to seek legal action against them it was mailed on august the 20th but still havenot heard a reply. and my home is still like it was when they left the board that they hold the siding on the diliver it is still screwed to the outside and nothing is done about the wrong cabinets or carpet . Now im being told that the Home Of Legends only has one company in La. that does ther factory work and that they are so for behind that it maybe the end of seopt. before we see anyone from the factory. There is alot more to this story but the thing i want to get across is that be very careful into what the dealer may tell you he just wants to sell a home. And as for as im concern I would not send anyone to Barton Manufacture Homes and would not look at a home from legend.
