Hello, I have been interested in purchasing a manufactered home for over a year now. I have past credit problems. My question is are there special programs or directions I can be lead to. I don't mind having pre-owned or a repossed home, so long as it's not old. Also, what is involved in a assumable mortgage for a MH? Thank you in advance for all your advice.

Banks are more willing to loan money on repossed homes and you may find a retailer that will do all they can to get you bought. I would look for a retailer that is willing to go to bat for you. You can always re-finance two years later and get a better interest rate. Good Luck.
