Terry, in two weeks I am going to Farmington,
N.M. to check out KARSTEN homes there, as well
as a dealership in Cortez, Colorado.
A couple of months ago I visited a dealership in
Colorado Springs and after consultation with the
KARSTEN factory in Albuquerque, regarding my asking
if I could get a plywood or OSB option for the floors',
the salesman sent the following message about Karsten's
flooring system.
"I SPOKE TO THE FACTORY ABOUT THE FLOORING. OSB OR PLYWOOD IS ONLY
AVAILABLE IN 4 X 16 SHEETS AND IS ONLY TONGUE AND GROVED ON THE SIDES,
NOT ON THE ENDS. THEREFORE INCREASING THE POSSIBILITY OF FLOOR SQUEEKS
AS TIME PASSES. THE SIZE OF THE SHEETS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH KARSTENS FLOOR SYSTEM."
