How do I shop around for best pricing of particular unit and add-ons.Is it like car shopping? Call a dealer and get a guote?

First you need to decide on a particular model and up-grades. Then visit two or three retailers that carry the same model and compare prices. That's going to be your best approach. It takes time but in the end you'll know which retailer has the best price and service.
