alt.mobilehome is a newsgroup that you need to subscribe to, maybe your ISP can or will subscribe to it for you, I know mine used to or did another newsgroup before they changed format, now, because I use NETSCAPE I subscribed to it myself.

I am working on good "directions" for those of you who are interested.

Type this url into your browser //www.deja.com, it will take you to GOOGLE. Do a GOOGLE search for alt.mobilehome and it will bring up all the current and old threads of conversations and subjects that have been going on.

Help!!! I just found this web site late this evening and hope some one out there may be able to help....I recently moved to the Dallas area and can't believe the costs of apts and homes...I am on a limited budget and looking for a "used"
mobile home......
1. are there classified on the internet for mh's in the dallas area
2. how do you determine what to pay
3. how do you determine if they are in a "good" park or not.
Previous to moving here....from Michigan I had a mobile home and found out that it was a good alternative...to apt living....however i want to avoid some of the pitfalls that occurred there...namely spending a fortune on remodeling it and not getting back my investment....
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One other question ....what about these "deals" you see in the paper....such
as take over payments etc etc.....are these scams or what.....
