Karsten/Fleetwood?
RE: Karsten/Fleetwood?
Charlotte, I've toured the Karsten Plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This company builds their manufactured home just like a house being constructed. They level the frame(Chassis) on big jacks and the jacks roll on a rail type steel beam thru out the factory and the home is always level as it rolls thru the assembly line. Their homes also go thru a very strict inspection as it is being built to make sure their isn't any flaw in construction by the Karsten family member themselves. I just couln't believe when I saw a multi unit finished. The final inspection is when they check the walls and cabinets and windows to the smallest detail and make sure the home is defect free. This company is recommended by people who bought and live in Karsten homes. They satisfy customers one by one. Also their service is unbelievable they just don't leave you after the sale they make sure you are a satisfied Karsten Home owner and they check up on you after the sale. This is why Karsten Home is gaining alot of attention in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California. About Fleetwood it's up to you I don't want to say anything about it but just compare the two and make you decision and see which one stands out in your mind.
/Fleetwood?Guerdon homes
Can you please give us information on Washington built Fleetwoods. They seem to be much sturdier than ones built in Idaho and Oregon. With standard 2x6 walls and 2x8 floor joists. Is this because Washingtonof Washinton state laws? Can you tell me of any problems or quality problems that seem to be consistant with Wa. built homes? How about Guerdon homes and teir quailty homes?
