Okay, so Cavco homes, huh? Right to the point! Curious choice, delving into manufactured housing. Always wondered about the resale value on those things... Makes me think of a time my uncle bought a mobile home, thinking it was Slope Unblocked the bargain of the century. Turns out the foundation was shot, and he ended up spending a fortune on repairs. Moral of the story: investigate thoroughly! Don't just trust the shiny brochures.

Hey everyone, thanks for the tips so far! I’m pretty much sold on the 32x76 layout, but I’m stuck on the upgrades. For those of you who have been in a Cavco for a while, what are the 'must-haves' versus the stuff that's just for show? I don't want to blow my budget on shiny kitchen handles if I should be putting that money into better insulation or the foundation like OweDunrossil mentioned.

I agree that insulation and the foundation are worth prioritizing over cosmetic upgrades. Those improvements will have a much bigger impact on comfort and long-term costs. Decorative things like cabinet hardware can always be changed later, just like using different font typing styles can refresh the look of text without changing the actual content. Focus on the essentials first, then personalize the details over time.

I actually looked at Cavco homes a few years back. They're solid builders with decent quality, though I found their customization options somewhat limited compared to competitors. Customer service varies by dealer, so definitely check local reviews. The 32x76 is a good size. Thanks for sharing this—hope you find the perfect home!

Cavco Homes is worth researching if you’re considering a manufactured home. I’d recommend comparing build quality, available floor plans, warranties, pricing, and reviews from actual owners before making a decision. Getting details from a local dealer can also help with current options and costs.
