Considering buying

Post by ingridguerci94 » Fri Apr 05, 2024 1:54 am

I know of an early to mid-90's Oakwood mobile home for sale at a good price. Its owner, who is moving out of state, works in construction and maintenance and has done much to keep it up, including remodeling many of its rooms, flooring, etc.

Of what general quality were the Oakwoods of that era?

What are some good questions to ask when I give it a better look than what I already have?

Many mobile homes from the 90s are still livable, but their longevity depends on regular maintenance and proper installation.

Oakwood mobile homes are known for their affordable prices and diverse designs to suit a wide range of users’ needs. However, the quality of the homes depends a lot on the year of manufacture and maintenance. Models from the 90s are often simple in design, but the electrical, plumbing, and structural systems should be carefully checked before purchasing. Retro Bowl

It’s great that you’re considering a mid-90s Oakwood mobile home, especially one that has been well-maintained and remodeled by someone with construction and maintenance experience. Oakwood is known for making affordable and functional mobile homes, but like any manufactured home, their quality can vary based on factors like construction, maintenance, and previous ownership.

The Oakwood mobile homes from the early to mid-90s are generally considered to be of decent quality for their time. They often featured solid construction and a variety of floor plans, but like many manufactured homes, the quality can vary based on specific models and how well they've been maintained.
