Wanting to buy a brand new mobile home, but frustrated

I've looked at many new home dealers. The only dealer I got to talk to me like a human being was a local Clayton dealer. I called them back today to ask what the price was on a particular model and they are just charging way too much. They want about $15k more than an independent dealer and claim it is because their identical model is better insulated. I guess I'm about to give up mobile home shopping. It is like looking for a used car on shady car lots.
