My husband and I are in the early stages of planning a move to a manufactured home. We're hoping to buy new, so we've visited some local dealers. They all tell us that our next step should be to figure out where we're going to put it, so we'll know the parameters for what's allowed in that park. So that's where we are now: shopping for a mobile home park.
One of the main places I'm getting information on the parks in this area is MHVillage.com. They list some statistics on each one, and like I said, we're newbies--we don't really know what they mean. Can somebody who knows more about this stuff please explain?
They give the percentages in each park of these types of homes:
Homes with Lap Siding
Homes with Peaked Roofs
I'm assuming that those are good things, and a park with a higher percentage probably has more newer and/or larger homes. Am I on the right track?
Thanks in advance for your help!
