Need help researching who makes a good quality product

My dad wants to purchase a manufactured home for acreage in Pacific Northwest (British Columbia). He has looked at a couple of newer homes of friends and has not been happy with the quality of work, finishes from builder. If you like what you bought or know of someone who bought and is happy(or not) with workmanship please let me know. He is 80 years old living in a trailer we need to get him more of a comfortable, permanent home.
