I got an email from MikeMC (see above) he contacted the mobile home owners association and i guess there is nothing they can do for us. Most of the manufactured homes that are being bought are not going into parks they are going on to private land. So I don't think it falls under that group. Also after talking to a lawyer friend he says that manufactured home( at least in cA) are not homes until they are placed on land and most lawyers doing handle that kind of thing. This is getting very frustrating and now that they have jumped state there really isn't anything Utah can do now. We may have to wait until they start getting people from MT complaining before we can contact Mt consumer proection

Goldbilt Homes is in no way connected to Quality Wholesale Homes. We do offer to honor any deposit that any individual has lost as a result of a company going out of business. Quality Wholesale Homes was one of the leaders in the manufactured housing industry, and them going under affects thousands of people. We are simply trying to help, and somehow this accusation was wrongfully made against us. Any company that large will of course have at least a handful of individuals who are upset with them, and I understand this. But the heartbeat of our company is to do everything humanly possible to minimize these types of issues. Again, I emphasize, Goldbilt is in no way connected to Quality Wholesale Homes, we are simply helping those who have been harmed.

SO I this means that because I have a statment from Quality Wholesale Homes to the Better Business Bureau in Utah saying that Quality will give me my $5000. back I can come to you and get that money back. There are several other people that have been promised money too. If so who do we call.

I too noticed this. I have both printed off and are dated and time stamped and will be placing them in the VERY large file of paperwork I have about them. Quality is also connected to Factory wholesale homes www.fwhonline.com but they don't have a page on "about the company".They can't think that we are all stupid enough to think they aren't one in the same.

Why aren't the FBI or other federal agencies investigating this? If they sell interstate or have moved from UT to MT why aren't the feds after them? I guess their scam isn't as big as Maydoff's scam.

Well you were right I checked the Goldbilt website today and SUPRISE! they have changed the "about us" to
Goldbilt homes offers a high quality manufactured home. Goldbilt quality is of the highest in the industry. Not only do we surpass most all of our competitors in our building standards we also surpass them in price.

I have found out that the owner of Goldbilt homes is Devon Howards (he owned Quality WholesaleHOmes) son. and he has taken the salesman from Quality to Goldbilt. So it should be no surprise to those of us that have lost money that Quality and Goldbilt site and the same. I just wonder just how long before the BBB in Mt starts getting complaints
