Re: Champion Homes files Chapter 11 bankruptcy
We were just about to purchase a beautiful Homes Of Merit model from the Lake City factory when we read about the Chapter 11 filing. I don't know what to do. If they are in reorganization could things all work out for the better? We did the factory tour and it sure looks like they build a good house. If I could be sure that they would actually deliver a house and only the warranty was at risk - we could negotiate a better price for that. Is it crazy to even consider them now?

Jay - did anyone ever answer you on this? We also are considering a HOM - and just found out about the bankruptcy and are concerned about quality, delivery, followup after delivery and warranty.
