I am going to purchase a 1988 manuf home in Lake Wales, FL, in a 55plus community where I will own the land. How can I find a home inspector that specializes in manufactured homes.

Make sure you use a certified home inspector from the National Association of Home Inspectors....

They have 19 listed in Lake Wales alone and 1400 in Florida...

Try this link for those in Lake Wales..you may have to cut and paste it into your browser...

Interview them as you would any other contractor..especially about their experience in manufactured homes...You are doing the right thing..Good Luck with your home..
