I am completely new at this. I have five acres in Lake County, Florida and I am interested in putting a M/H on the property as a vacation home. I know there are M/H in the area. Does anyone know how to get information on zoning laws and building codes for this county? Can I expect to pay an impact fee?

Should I look to buy a used home from a private owner or dealer? Are repossessed homes a good value?

What can I expect to pay for delivery and Set-up?

Remember the tortoises relocation permit...and the tree rules..and a tree removal permit...impact fees will be from $4,500 to $5,500 ( far less than stick built homes) depending on the size of the home...Fee chart is here

Geez..glad my customers are not in this area....I wonder how much it costs to move a tortoise....

There are probably other permits as well...Check with the customer serevice office of the county....
