Florida Law on MH's - Limit of 2 per unit?

Post by danedon » Sat Sep 02, 2006 3:33 pm

I've been told by the owner of a 55+ MH Park that according to Flordia State Law if we buy a MH our 34 year old son that is Down Syndrome can't live with us while we are in that MH in Florida.

Is this true?

Check out the law by asking to see it. Perhaps this maybe one of their laws.
Most 55+ communities have and 80 / 20 % where in 20% may be below 55.

NO...but Florida law requires the park to have a lease and written rules...These should be enforced on all in the park..Seems this park does not allow anyone under 55..This is an individual park rule..try other parks that will accommodate your family..
