Hello Kris -

Thanks for adding your voice to our forums. Most of the time we are trying to help buyers overcome problems and frustration. It is great to hear form someone that has followed our forums and found the home they wanted with confidence and satisfaction.

You have made a good decision with Skyline. They have been around for a long time and were the very first brand that I sold, back in the 1970's when 12 wides were the hottest homes on the market. Skyline has always made a good solid home and was the original leader in their concern and efforts for home owner satisfaction

We are currently offering free excerpts from the Grissim Ratings Guide to Manufactured Homes that home shoppers can read by clicking here

The books for buyers that Kris is talking about are available from The Manufactured Housing Book Store

Kris,

Thanks for making the effort to post your thanks for the help you received from the books sold here to assist home buyers. As author of the Grissim Guides, I can tell you it really means a lot to get positive feedback from those who have read my two buying guides. I suspect there are a lot of folks who have benefited since we've just ordered a second, and larger, printing. Good luck with your Skyline purchase. And thanks again.

John Grissm
