Best MFH in Texas (San Antonio) area??

I'd like to know whether the Palm Harbor Gotham 3116 sq. ft. home is the best one to go with over a Fleetwood Beacon Hill 0764B 2280 sq. ft.

We have a family with 3 children, never bought a MH and are looking to put one on our land within the next 90 days. We are struggling with choosing between these 2 homes. Also, we are nowhere near TX so it's not like we can pop right in to the local sales retailer and see their models either.

Fleetwood sent me a brochure, but that was a disappointment as the brochure must have been outdated. I asked specifically about the Beacon Hill series and I got a several page booklet about their Lifestages series, with one page that talked about the other few homes they sell.

Palm Harbor called my husband... was supposed to get back with us and never bothered to call us again. We have received nothing in the mail from them either.

Any suggestions?

These homes do not relate to each other..The PH is almost 50% larger and in a far different price range..The PH has a 5 year buyer protection plan..Fleetwood will only back theirs 1 year..Fleetwood is sold by small independent dealers in TX and PH is sold and serviced by Palm Harbor owned stores..completely different buying experience. You said you are not in TX..but failed to mention where you are..PH has this model in many states...Check out the bookstore here and invest in one of the buying guides...This is a small investment for peace of mind
