how do you "dewinterize"
how do you "dewinterize"
trailer was winterized, agent still hasn't had it "dewinterized"! Can I do it myself?
Re: how do you "dewinterize"
YES....a properly winterized home has had the water turned off, lines blown clear of water, water heater emptied and a antifreez like substance poured into the drains and toilets to keep them from bursting with frozen water..
If I were you, I would require that water preasure be put on the home and it be inspected for leaks....or....you make this part of your purchase contract..
Dewinterizing is nothing more than turning on the water and filling the lines...the antifreeze type substance will wash down the drain on its own..
