We are in the Seattle, Wa area.

We were having some issues with one salesman at the PH in Fife. He was saying things and not following through and we caught him in a few lies. We called the Service Manager and spoke with him about our concerns. He was very apologetic and got us working with a different salesman. Apparently the guy that we were working with originally was new. It was pretty obvious that he was. But, so far so good. Will keep updating this thread as the saga continues.

Good Luck to you all!

Becareful in what you buy. I would never purchase another manufactured home again and would not recomend it to my worst ennemy. Look up HADD on the web and it will give you great info

If you read the HADD site...you will notice hundreds of more complaints from stick built owners, condos and patio homes...and hundreds of complaints about mortgage companies...
With your logic...if mentioned on HADD..do not buy any of them...you would be left with tents...leaves you with no construction problems and no mortgage problems...

A much better appraoch to buying housing is education...The original poster is well on the way to this..

I can give you some insight to PHH. I have worked for Palm Harbor Homes for 10+ years and have never seen a company so committed to customer service. With one call you can get in touch with a sales center GM or regional VP. They will get involved with any opportunities you have with ANY employee that works for PHH.
We build the best house, have the best trained associates in the business and are ALL committed to Customer service.
It starts at the top with the CEO and moves down to every employee.
My advice is to speak to the area regional VP in your area. You can get that VP's office # by calling 1800 456 8744. He or she will get personally envolved to help you get professional service and to prove when you choose PHH you have chosen the best home for the dollors you wish to spend. My mother bought a PHH and I recommended it to her. HUMM

My husband and I are moving to Texas later this year. WELL......we WERE planning to buy a Palm Harbor Home and buy land. PLEASE PLEASE rethink your decision to go with them. We have called their company many times asking questions regarding the lawsuits they are dealing with with the state of Texas right now. SInce that conversation, nobody will return our calls or send us the info they promised. I got a bad feeling about the whole thing and I started doing research online. I found ALOT ALOT of lawsuits and problems with Palm Harbor. PLease before you decide to go with them, look up "palm harbor lawsuits and palm harbor complaints" I think you will change your mind. Good luck. We have definately changed our minds. We will never go through them. Im glad we found out before it was too late.

Thank you for the note, my husband and I are leaving for vacation and going up to Ala looking for property and to check out the Patriot Homes. I have been checking them out on the Internet and quite impressive.
