Buying in FL panhandle

Can anyone recommend a good reliable dealer - pref. near to or better yet in Panama City area.

Now for the next question, good makes/models of home in this area, bearing in mind it must meet Cat 2 wind standards. Minimum requirements 3 Bed, 2 Bath and at least 1400sqft.

Now please before everybody rushes to say go look, unfortunately I am stuck the wrong side of the atlantic for most of the year and so am reliant on at least knowing initally what makes/models are not worth wasting what little time I have looking at.

My budget? well somwhere in the region of 90K for land/home turnkey package within 30 mins drive of the city so what I have left to spend on a home depends on my setup costs but would anticpate spending between 20 & 40k on land & setup prices from the few discussions I have already had

Steve,

My brothers and I recently purchased a home from the Horton Homes of Panama City. They were intially very friendly with my parents but since receiving the payment in full they have now become slow to respond to information requests and have promised delivery twice and haven't met either. All they are getting are excuses as to why it can't be delivered. My parents have completed everything they can do on their end as far as permits and have even gone as far as to fax copies of all permits and the county application required by the dealer but the dealer keeps making excuses. I would shy away from them.
