Hi;
we are about to close on a Palm Harbor...finally! It is to be built in the upcoming month and delivered from Oregon to California...about 350 miles. I am concerned about the rain and it damaging the home during the trip and set up. Please let me know if this is damaging or if I should be concerned about anything. Thank you.

All of our homes are delivered with plastic covering the open spaces. I would bet that Palm Harbor does the same. Just make sure your installer doesn't start to put the parts together when it's raining.

Mobile homes (Wide loads) are NOT to be on the road in inclement weather. If you have a reputable mover delivering the home, there should not be a problem. If not, maybe the scale houses, state troopers etc. will shut him down in the rain.
