If you plan to buy a new MH from a dealer, is there any reason to get a real estate agent, or do they not even handle manufactured homes? I guess it's not even real estate until it's anchored to the foundation. Anybody know?
Thanks,
Blair
Real Estate agent for MH?
Re: Real Estate agent for MH?
Actually you are correct...the home is not real estate until attached to land..
You might need a real estate agent to help you find a good location for a home..most dealers will have a list of real estate pros who specialize in land sales..They will be much more help than a regular real estate person..
As with the choice of real estate persons..you should be sure you are dealing with a good dealer...Go for it..Good Luck

Re: Real Estate agent for MH?
Thanks, Murray. Since I already have the land, I guess I don't need a real estate agent for anything!
And what's the best way to check on the reputation of a dealer, other than the obvious things like checking with the BBB?
Has anybody had any experience with Bullhead Homes in Phoenix? (Redman dealer.)
Thanks again,
Blair

State consumer agencies..
State manufactured home regulators..
