financing

We are looking at purchasing a doublewide home to place on property we already own. We will need to finance land development, septic installation and all the routine stuff. Will we need a construction loan or will we be able to do all this on a conventional loan?

Every dealer has a different policy for this type of transaction...Construction loans are now required by most...but a few local dealers might very well forgo the construction loan by placing a lien on your property until they receive all of their money...

Only a foolish dealer would put a well and septic into your land with no protection...If the dealer is that dumb...you do not want to deal with them at all..
