MH project manager?

Post by Adrien » Sun Mar 28, 2004 7:33 pm

Is there such a thing as an overall project manager/advisor for MH projects. I have racked my brain trying to put together the whole project, and can't seem to make it all fit together. I end up with more questions each time I try to take a step forward. Everything seems to be a "chicken or the egg" situation. Everything seems to depend on knowing everything else.

I need someone who can basically keep me on the right path and answer questions. I'm just about to the point to sell my land and forget it.

Sorry if I sound frustrated, but I am. Just locating where to put it the MH is becoming a major chore. One contractor tells me I can build up a pad for the MH and then put in my runners, the next tells me I can't. I guess I could line up every contractor, drag them out to the property and have meeting. One thing I have learned, having a well and septic already on your property, is not always a good thing.

Now that I have vented a bit, where would I find such a person, if they exist, and what could I expect to pay?

This should be the function of the dealership you have chosen to buy from...Dealership persons should be fully skilled and have experienced almost all possible problems before...If your dealership has left you on your own...try another...

You're right! The reluctance of the sales center to get involved at this stage speaks volumes. Better now than later. Good advice again, thanks. I spoke with another center today who seems more willing to help resolve some of my issues. I have an option of either Cavalier, or Patriot. Not the quite the quality of the other I was considering, but better floor plans and options. I'm not familiar with either, so I will need to do some research.

Any opinions on either?

Thanks again.
