Earthquake

I just thought of something that nobody else has touched on....

What about safety in an Earthquake? I live in an area prone to sush natural disasters.. I am not concerned about Hurricanes or tornadoes as I don't live in an area where it is a concern.

What do I need to consider as unique from a traditional house with regards to an earthquake?

A study I read showed them holding up very well. When they fell off their supports, the damage was repaired and they were re-set. There are anchor systems available to pin them down. This would be the equivalent of the bolted sill plates in a site-built house. Don't have cost info, sorry.
