Standard Price for Quality ...

Post by Desmond » Sat Jan 03, 2004 10:19 pm

Just because I have good credit and or can afford a good home, I still would like to know what would be the going rate or price of a good structurally sound, quality built manufactured home.. Yes. I know the prices will vary but I would like a general picture from an unbias opinion.. --

Homes run from $30-45 per sq foot so a an 1800 sq foot home will go for $55-80K. You can pay more than this but this is a pretty good range. Add on to this site prep, which can be simple and not expensive or elaborate and exorbitant, septic, poured footers, quality skirting, deck/pourch and that will add another 10-25K. Like any home you an spend as much as you like or you can get a decent home for a reasonable price. Most dealers have the setup and basic skirting in the price of the home but you still would want to have poured footers and quality skirting included in the final price.
