home-only financing...

Post by Michelle » Tue Nov 25, 2003 5:54 am

Hi, I'm trying to help someone obtain financing for a mobile-home located in a park... I've searched some of the major providers of mobile home financing (such as Chase, 21st century mtg, etc.), but this mobile home they're looking into buying is just too old for them to finance (1972 model)... I don't want them to fall into predatory lenders and I was wondering if anybody could help me find a reputable financing company for them... their credits are pretty good.. (around 680).

Or I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know if there are cases where realestate brokers were able to finance them... Thank you...

I know it sounds a little strange, but -1- if they have good credit, and -2- if the home is not very expensive (which I would assume, being an older home) they may want to consider putting it on a low-interest credit card. They can always get creative with balance transfers later. I know two buyers of older home who did this.

Home Only financing for anything over 10 years no longer exists. Try a personal property loan with a credit union.
