Foundations!

Maybe subject this has been discussed before but I don't remember it being so.

Is there normally a difference in the type of foundations used for Modular vs Manufactured homes?

Yes...but modulars are built to state codes and can have different rules in every state..

Example..South Carolina allows on frame modular..for the most part the foundation is exactly the same as the HUD home....

but..GA only allows off frame modulars..In this case the perimeter walls are part of the foundation structure...with a few piers of block down the middle..

Both modular and HUD homes come with set up manuals...ask a dealer to see both..
