Need a advise on getting a loan.

Hi,
I have an opportunity to buy a mobile home (right near the beach.) I can come up with a substantial down payment and a co-signer. I have 300.00 dollar blemish on my credit report (Verizon, grrr) along with a couple more very minor ones. No more than 600.00 all together. So, everywhere I have applied will not help me. I can pay the credit stuff off, but it takes a little more time than I actually have. I am afraid it will be sold before I get cleared up. I am desperate! Does anyone have any suggestipns, where I can apply (somewhere I won't be laughed at) for a loan?
I am in Los Angeles (don't know if that makes a difference).
