Johnny J, about those 9' sidewalls...sm

there is a house on the SE lot that has a large protuberance (I don't know what else to call it!) on the front, with lots of windows, and it it a lot higher than the rest of the house. I haven't had the time to go in it yet, and I don't know if it is SE or Indies. Is this possibly what you are talking about with the 9' sidewalls? Or are they 9' all the way around? I'll be watching for that model # you said you would post. I've checked the SE web site lately but they didn't have any new models on there. Know anywhere on the web I could find pictures or floor plans or SE's newest models besides www.soenergy.com?

I called the SE dealer in Clanton today. He has the one with the 9' sidewalls. He
told me that this home was at the Birmingham trade show, and does not have a
model number as yet. He also said that he can get this home by contacting the
SE mfg. The home is a 28 X 84, and is spectacular. The price of the one on the
lot from the trade show is $69.9K. It does have some good construction features,
but seems to have been built for the eye appeal of the show. He said it could be
ordered with the good stuff though (they all say that.) The one on the lot has
2X4 ext walls, 2X6 floor joists, and 2X4 interior walls. The lavs have delta faucets
with popups. There are no water cutoffs other than the main in the utility room.
It also has a whirlpool tub in the MBathR. Tape and texture t/o.

Lots of eye candy, and probably a good price for what it has in it. This home was
built at the Addison, Al plant.
