1st time MH buyer

This will be our 1st MH after living in a stick built tri-level for 30 years. We are looking now at Palm Harbor and Skyline. We are looking at the 2000+ feet models. We have found one in each line that my wife likes. It appears after much searching on the internet and this forum that the process can be complacated. I am looking for the best built home plus the best service and warranty. Palm Harbors 5 year warranty is appealing. I would appreciate any direction from the experts that are on this forum. I am thinking of getting the book from Randy? I am sure it would answer a lot of questions. I did use one of his items about headers over the window and door casings. They should be double or more. The PH has 1 and I have not been able to find out about Skyline. Thanks for any info

Dutch Housing out of LaGrange, IN is by far one of the best homes. Not only are there double headers at windows & doors there are triple headers at patio doors & picture windows! ! ! ! 2x6 sidewallls are std on all models.
