Redman of southeast

Are there two different Redman companies?? I'm seeing Redman of the southwest and I know that there is a Redman (a Champion owned company) in the southeast. I have Randy Eaton's book and from what I can tell, Redman of the southwest is a good company, but from what I can see of Redman in the east, the materials used are substandard. In his book, he has Redman in the southeast spelled "Redmond", but all the brochures I have spell it "Redman". Can anyone clear this up?

Redman is a Champion Homes brand..they are different in each plant...This is one of the things that make a comparison guide so hard to follow...Be sure you are looking at the model mentioned in the guide..

From what I know about them is that they are like the scores of others out there...Middle of the road ok homes...Not the worse in the market and far from the best...Pricing seems to be in the middle ranges available...

Your satisfaction of this and most others in this price range is much more dealer oriented than brand oriented...If the dealer is a good dealer...sets the home well and helps you with after the sale follow up...go for it...Ask the dealer for his last 5 or 6 customers names and phones..call them and ask...check the BBB (if there are any bad notices move on)..check you states consumer affairs office...ask around...Good Luck
