Hello,
We recently purchased a doublewide mobile home, I will leave the name of the manufacturer out for apparent reasons. There were quite a number of cosmetic defects in our home when we did the walk through inspection with the dealer. After moving into the house we were delighted to hear we would be getting a thousand dollar rebate from the manufactuer. This seems very unusual, what would be your opinion on this? Personally I think it proves that your sales person is not too smart..He should have been spending time with this in the sales process..Using this as an added tool to get you to buy.
..Some manufacturers offer rebates from time to time to help lagging sales...Some times that are nothing more than money added to the price and returned by the manufacturer..Other times they are short term incentive to buy at the time of the offer..

Consider it a belated Christmas gift and enjoy...or pay down your principle of your loan...
