Bringing My Own Credit Report
Bringing My Own Credit Report
I have all three of my credit reports (dated 9/8/02) and I was wondering if I could just take these with me when I'm out shopping. I'm still in the looking stage and it appears that most retailers can't seem to answer any of your questions without knowing your credit situation. This will allow them to answer my questions without having to negatively affecting my credit score which is currently 652 - right on the FAIR credit fence ;-D. I realize that with today's technology, these documents can be falsified, therefore, I was planning to ask them to give me prices/rates/etc. based upon the information I am supplying with the understanding that the numbers may change if I decide to purchase from them and my credit situation is different. Does anyone know how retailers feel about consumers who bring their own credit reports?
Re: Bringing My Own Credit Report
If you have the scores...they LOVE it...They save money this way...Eventually the lender will pull another report to finalize the loan and falsified reports are not a concern..
You are right for some finance you are on the bubble and a few points can make a difference...but..you will easily qualify for the best mortgages...and only basic..most expensive home only...
