De title
De title
Last year I purchased a doublewide to put on my land which I bought seperatly.I own the land free and clear. I want to refinance now at a lower rate but when I went to the bank they told me I would have to detitle the home before they could put my mortage out on the open market.I have tried to find out about the detitling and I'm keep getting conflicting answers. Can anyone out there set me straight on this matter? My home and land are taxed as one as real property and I had it installed as a permanant structure.
Re: De title
Usually only taxing as 1 real estate unit is all that is required..Usually the closing attorney that closes the loan takes care of all of the paperwork to be able to issue title insurance..This is all that is required..
The loan originator should have know that the closing attorney would take care of all the paperwork.He/she is making this process much too complicated...I think I would shop lenders to find those comfortable with manufactured homes...It is a wonderful time to refi...and is a simple process..
You might try to enter your request on this sites "Request for loan info.."..These originators will now the business VERY well..
Good Luck...
