Hello, All !
I am looking into the possibility of making a modular addition to a conventional house. Sort of an in-law unit. Is this possible? Is it expensive? I'd like 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, with a living room and kitchen, at the very least. All on one floor (not getting any younger you know

) ). If this is possible, what is the best way to figure out manufacturer and contractor and things like that?
I will be grateful for any informationn your knowledgeable forum can provide. Thanks in advance...

I was told yesterday that Homes of Merit is about to begin charging a $200 deductible per year on their warranty in August. Is this true? and if so, is it normal? Also, I've been told that Homes of Merit is one of the best built homes in Florida, so why would they need to charge extra to honor their warranty? It seems like a well built home wouldn't require much work.
