To Richard - RE After Skyline, what?

Richard, I'm just wondering - after your terrible experience with Skyline, and now that your house is for sale, what do you plan to do when it sells? Are you going to buy another manufactured home or what? You say you don't know whether the CEO of Skyline is aware of your problems - surely you've contacted him! If not, do so right away! Send him a certified letter listing all the problems you've had. My philosophy is - ALWAYS GO STRAIGHT TO THE TOP!

I have talked with Tom Deranek, personally ( CEO ). I have not said to him that my feeling is that he is being mislead by his Ephrata, Pa. Mfg. facility. I'd rather not say something if I do not know that something before hand. The State of WV. has notified Skyline of my complaints, and the State will be coming to this MH to do an inspection, at which time, Skyline will be given notice as to what items do not pass their inspection. I am not holding my breath. I have sent certified letters and did not get any better response than if I had called, so my faith with Skyline is ZERO. I'll do what I can to get out of this. I'll consider another manufacturer now that I've gotten my PhD in Manufactured Housing. I will not make the same mistake ( Skyline ) twice. Thanks for your concern.
