underside of home

What should we look for when inspecting the underside of the home?
There are steel pieces that run between the I-beams at certain intervals - how many of these should there be??

And the belly wrap that hangs underneath - should it bulge out? What should it be made of?

Thanks

Hello Donna,

You need to get my book, "How To Buy" this will help you determine quality construction. You can order it on this web site. The steel I-Beams under each section will consist of two running the length of the home. The cross members will usually be every 4 to 6 feet. The belly bag will bulged because of the insulation, this is normal.
