Eric, I actually haven't got to move in yet. The house has been here for a month. It was almost two weeks before they came out and set it up. My electricity was hooked up wrong and had to be done over. Not solitaire, but from the pole to the house.I had the manager come out because of problems with carpet installing. Also the paint job is messed up. He agreed. I'm not being picky, but it is a lot of money to spend and not be happy. they will be out and fix everything in one trip, is what they say. Will see. yes I was told there would be no skirting and steps. At the time it didn't seem like a big deal, but as my money is dwindling it is more important than I thought. I think if I ever get in the house, I will realize it is the best home built. I had not even heard about solitaire, until Terry started posting here, and he was so sold on them, and has lived in two or three. That is when I went to look at them. I have children with experiences from two other mfg. so I knew I didn't want to go there. Even though their homes are very pretty, they are not built like the solitaire. Anyway I'm sure you will be happy, since you apparently have looked into these homes thoroughly
Location has a lot to do with it, some places can't get good set up crews.
good luck to you. JOY

Joy, Where did you buy your home from? My homes came out from Albuquerque, New Mexico and it came with two sets of steps and I didn't want the cheap figerglass skirting. The home also came with a refrigerated air which was placed outside the home next to the back door. The only thing I hold the dealer accountable for was when I last purchased my 18x80 was the service on the home they left the cracks in the walls and they never releveled my home for me at all. That's where I hold a grudge against them for. Good luck.

We are either going to buy ours from the lot in Oklahoma City or Woodward, Ok. It is about the same distance for us. Anyone out there with experience from either location? Thanks for all the help, buying a manufactured home is very confusing! Joy, good luck with your new home, I hope they get it right.

Eric, Please keep us posted on your progress, I would like to know how you are treated with the delivery of the home and the service after the sale. I was told the Solitaire dealers in Oklahoma and Texas are owned by the factory. Is your home coming with refrigerated airconditioner? Make sure you have everything the dealer is going to do for you in writing. Like the service of the home after 90 days of delivery of the home, their suppose to come back and relevel your home and check to see what needs to be fixed. Good luck. Terry
