Triple-wides

Post by Mary G » Sun Jul 08, 2001 6:29 pm

I'm interested in a triple-wide manufactured home. Just looked at a Fleetwood that was 2236 square feet and very, very impressive. Is the triple-wide a new thing on the market? I'd like to look at some others if someone could advise me on which manufacturers are producing them. I'm in the Georgia/Alabama area.

Thanks.

Alan

Liberty Homes has some of the best triplewide plans that I have seen. Look for a dealer in your area.

Triple wides have been around for at least five years or so. To find out about manufacturerers specific to Georgia and Alabama, contact Manufactured Housing Associations in each state. They will help. Georgia's is at web site:

Hello Mary G,

Which state do you live in?

I live in Georgia, but am looking at some land in Alabama close to the Georgia line.

Most of the dealers I've talked to in this part of Georgia (northwest) will move a house over to Alabama, so I may buy the house from a Georgia dealer since it's easier to "shop" closer to home..
