As stated in previous post I am now fearful of Palm Harbor after reading a few ot the horror stories on the net. AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!! Is there a home out there with no problems, good service,etc in Virginia?

Hello Judy,

Every manufacturer in the United States has problems and horror stories. It's not realistic to base your buying decision on a bad report. Stick-built homes have problems, people that spend a half of million dollars on custom homes have problems. Stick with the basics: quality construction, reputable retailer, quality loan for your situation and a good contractor for site-preparation. If you follow these simple guidelines you're avoid many of the pit-falls of buying any type of home. The upper lines of Palm Harbor homes are fine.
