Cavalier/Bellcrest Manufactured Homes

My husband and I are looking to purchase a new larger MH. We were looking at Fleetwoods exclusively and was working with a MH Dealer for a few months only to find out that they have filed bankruptcy.

I have went to another MH dealer,but they only sell Bellcrest, Homes of Merit and some others.

I have found the house that I want its the 2001 PowerHouse buitl by Cavalier for bellcrest. Can someone tell me anything about this house/company??

Also can I purchase directly from the home manufactuer/plant where its built?? or must I got through a dealer? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Cavalier is built here in Alabama just a few miles down the road...the power house here is listed for 49,000. I looked at one today, and really liked it...much better than the fleetwood...fleetwood here does not hold up...I have seen many! nore do the retain resale value at all.

The powerhouse is listed for 64,000 usually but they are having a sale till septemeber due to the response..only trouble I see is you do not get to choose the color..but with whirlpool products I Don't care. Going to see Palm Harbor tomorrow but find they are falling down in quality....
