I have been impressed by the quality look and feel of manufactured homes. Certainly aren't the mobile homes I remember from my youth. Does anyone have any opinions on Karsten, Fleetwood, Champion, and Advantage Brands.
Thanks for any and all help

Maya, The one I could recommend to you is the Karsten homes of Albuquerque, New Mexico or the Sacramento, California Division. Karsten homes speaks for itself and the quality workmanship they do is excellent. Every home that is shipped out of their facotry is strictly inspected and then shipped. I've toured their factory in New Mexico and I am so proud of their building technique. Karsten Homes doesn't forget their customers after the sale, they contact you to make sure you are satisfied with their homes and if you have any problems with the home they send a service crew right away to you to correct the problems. Also, they are picky who sells their homes. They want the retailer with good reputations to sell their homes. Good luck

Hello Maya,
Karstens are good but so are the upper-lines of Fleetwood and Champion. Get a 4-12 roof pitch 30-lb snow load or better. 2x8 floor joists and 2x6 exterior walls with the most installation possible. Hope this helps.

have u heard of skyline these are amish built and seem to be a little better in quality. They have the option of drywall all the way through the house and they look a little more like a "house" on the inside check into these skylinecorp.com

I've been looking at homes for several years and the Skyline line has impressed me the most. I finally signed up to purchase one for my observatory. It is sheet rocked throughout with textured walls. 2x6 construction and a very appealing cabinet.
